Cocktail frankfurts, also known as cocktail sausages, are generally well-received for their convenience, taste, and affordability. They are often used as a quick snack, hot dog filling, or lunchbox item. While they may not be the healthiest choice, many enjoy their flavor and ease of preparation. Pros: Convenience: Easy to cook and serve. Affordability: A good value for money. Taste: Many find them tasty and enjoyable, especially when served in hot dog buns or with dipping sauces. Long shelf life: Many products have a relatively long expiry date. Cons: Health Concerns: Not a healthy food choice due to processed ingredients and potentially high levels of salt and fat. Splitting: Frankfurts may split open when cooked, especially if cooked at too high a heat. Tips for Cooking: Low Heat: Cook at low heat to prevent splitting. Don't Reboil: If boiling, bring water to a boil, then reduce heat and add frankfurts. Serve Hot: Best served hot with dipping sauces or in hot dog buns. In conclusion, cocktail frankfurts are a popular, convenient, and affordable food choice, particularly for those seeking a quick snack or lunchbox option. While not the healthiest, they offer a tasty and easy-to-prepare meal for many consumers.

So juicy!! Located this easily - there are two versions and you can easily tell the difference. Love these frankfurts. Potentially not the healthiest but it's very tasty and convenient. We used it to make hotdog buns - the hotdogs were super juicy, easy to bite through and great flavour. Suitable quantity as well. Most importantly, they are super affordable and I would definitely be using these again next time I make hotdog buns. Did somebody say “hotdogs!”. My children (and hubby) were so excited for this sample! We used them to make mini hotdogs and they went down a treat. My eldest son had leftover cheerios in his lunchbox at school the next day and was fine to eat them cold. As a heavily processed meat I wouldn’t say we would get them all the time but they are okay as a “sometimes” food. Yummy. Woolworths Cocktail Frankfurts are very good value for money, taste just as I remember them. Best on white sandwich or a hotdog roll with tomato sauce and American Mustard. There’s probably other variations of how to eat them too, perhaps cut up as finger food for guests and in meals though I’m not aware of what recipes there are as I’m happy with them in a sandwich with the two sauces. I don’t have children but I know they’re a hit for them. Growing up they were and younger family members enjoy it. it it heavily processed and not healthy but as a sometimes meal, it’s okay to have. Simply delicious!
