It's definitely stated to be better for the environment, but I'm not entirely sure how well it would hold up to very delicate fabrics. Based on my experience, I'd say that enzyme washing liquid generally seems to be a more effective option overall.

I like this laundry liquid, first it seems to clean quite well, and seems to leave all clothes with a freshness regardless of whether we dry on the line or in the dryer. It’s suitable for septic tanks and it’s only about $3 per litre. I use it in conjunction with its matching fabric softener for towels etc.
