It had a nice balance of salt without being overwhelming. It turned out with a perfect crunch on the edges but stayed slightly chewy in the middle. Not overly fatty, and it didn’t shrivel up too much. Good meat-to-fat ratio. Even strips that cooked up nicely and didn’t stick together too much. The aroma while cooking was amazing—classic bacon scent.

Good quality bacon, it comes fatty enough to cook well but with enough meat on it. perfect cut of bacon.

Got this from Coles and it’s probably the best cooking bacon I’ve ever used, hardly any fat or rind, not expensive to buy for a kg, gluten free so that’s good for people like me, I added it to our baked potatoes or it can be grilled or fried, good to freeze

basic bacon that is fine for everyday use. fine to add to soup or throw on a sandwich. can be a little fatty but overall ok. buy when I just need serviceable bacon

very cheap, does the same job as the expensive stuff and if you pick the right packet it is exactly the same cut of bacon
