Golden syrup is a smooth, sweet and sticky substance! I mostly use it for baking needs as it adds a nice sweet and sugary taste plus a caramelised flavour. This time it was used for making mars bar slice. The texture is sticky so helps make baked goods chewy but sugary. It does however make a mess or can attract ants so do store and clean accordingly. The syrup is not good for you with a 1.5 health star rating as it is full of sugar but it does come in a good size quantity that will last you a long time and is cheap to buy. 4 stars anyhow!
