I always have brown rice stashed in the pantry. I really love its chewy texture and nutty flavour and I use it in a variety of dishes. Brown rice is rich in nutrients and fibre and offers many health benefits. However the fact that it contains higher arsenic levels than white rice is quite concerning to me as it can lead to potential digestive issues. Before I cook it I ensure to soak it for an hour and then thoroughly rinse it till the water runs clear.
