We loved avocado as it’s very nutritious and provides health benefits. Avocado is rich in Vitamins K, C, B6, potassium,and antioxidants supporting heart health by improving cholesterol, aiding digestion and weight management due to satiety, and can improve blood sugar control. For most people avocados are very healthy but should be eaten in moderation especially those who have kidney disease due to high potassium, liver problems due to collagen content, digestive issues (IBS/SIBO) as avocado contain FODMAPs (polyols) that ferment in the gut causing gas, bloating and discomfort for sensitive individuals. it can also intereact with some medications such as cholesterol lowering drugs and NSAIDs. Lastly a bag of avocados is very affordable than buying per piece. it’s grown and produced in Australia.
