Pros - inexpensive and convenient. There is no need to soak them beforehand like dried chickpeas. I use these in salads and soups. It has a nice nutty flavour. Cons - none

The Coles brand of canned Chick Peas are a very reliable and affordable pantry staple. These canned chick peas provide a good source of fibre and protein and I mainly use them in stews, Mediterranean salads and also in making hummus which the whole family loves. I also like the fact that they are suitable for Vegans and that there are only three ingredients … chick peas, water and salt.

This can of chickpeas from Coles is affordable, nutritious, and versatile. I love how this product is really healthy, packed with fiber, vitamins, and lean plant based protein. I also love that at only a dollar per can, these are incredibly affordable. These are also really versatile and taste Great in stews, stirfries, curries, or blended to make hommus. I also appreciate that these cans of chickpeas are easy to open and have a ring pull on the top. Altogether, a great buy. 5 stars!

good price, but not flavoursome as other brands and the texture is a little soft. I added to a salad, needed to peel the skins off first. might be good for roasting though, will give them another chance!
