Coles Chickpeas are great quality and very convenient. They have a nice texture, not too soft or mushy, and are perfect for salads, curries, hummus, or soups. Ready to use straight from the can, they save a lot of time in the kitchen. Excellent value for the price.

Our favourite ways to enjoy the modest chick pea is in a Turkish chick pea stew or, lightly flavoured the Greek way - with oil, lemon juice, parsley, salt, cumin, garlic and black pepper.
