These Coles soft wholemeal sandwiches bread loaf not as soft as described.

I prefer wholemeal bread over white bread as it has more fibre. However, it must be eaten with 2 to 3 days when bought, otherwise it would lose its freshness and go stale.

I just tried some Coles Soft Wholemeal Sandwich Bread Loaf 650g as a cheap alternative of the big brands. It’s soft & fresh with even texture making it perfect for sandwiches. Bit nutty and sweet in taste. Goes well with peanut butter or jam. I used for my ham and bacon sandwiches. Australian made with Australian ingredients. Will continue buying it as it has proven to be a good alternative of the big brands.

It is an ok product but sometimes is not that fresh and needs to be toasted.
