I know a lot of people would disagree, but I have never seen the point of paying more than you need to for dry pasta, unless you want a particular shape or texture. To me it tastes exactly the same, so I buy the cheaper brands like these Coles Large Pasta Spirals. lam perfectly happy with them for $1 a packet, as I believe it's what you put on the pasta that is important.

100% durum wheat from Coles. Product of Australia. Easy to cook 500g pasta and 1 tops of salt to 5 L of boiling water. Cook for 9 mins! I always keep it in my kitchen stock.

good to have on hand for easy pasta dishes during the week. always have some in an airtight container in my pantry. very inexpensive staple in our house.
