I know a lot of people would disagree, but I have never seen the point of paying more than you need to for dry pasta, unless you want a particular shape or texture. To me it tastes exactly the same, so I buy the cheaper brands like these Coles Large Pasta Shells. lam perfectly happy with them for $1 a packet, as I believe it's what you put on the pasta that is important.
