Pink onions are mild and not overpowering excellent for salads and ideal for picking additional sweetness. I always prefer pink onions.

These pink onions are great tasting, fresh onions. They are similar to white onions but I find the taste much better and the flesh is slightly pink. They cook up lovely as caramelised onions
