The cheapest orange juice per litre that is free of preservatives and 100% oranges! Tastes great too.

My family don’t like pulp, so this is perfect for my family pulp free all the way.

I picked up this Fresha Chilled Orange Juice (2L bottle) from Coles and overall it’s a solid everyday option for the price. It pours a nice bright orange colour and has a refreshing, citrusy aroma straight from the fridge. Taste-wise, it’s smooth and not too sweet, with a decent balance of tangy orange flavour. It’s clearly not fresh-squeezed (has that slight pasteurised/processed note most supermarket chilled juices do), but it avoids being overly artificial or syrupy like some cheaper brands. I appreciate that it seems to be no added sugar and made mostly from Australian oranges — feels like good value compared to pricier “premium” ones. Pros: • Great chilled straight from the fridge — super refreshing on a hot Sydney day • Good size (2L) for the family without going flat too quickly if you seal it well • Affordable and widely available at Coles • Clean, natural orange taste without weird aftertaste Cons: • Slightly thinner mouthfeel than higher-end brands like Original Juice Co. Black Label or The Great Australian Squeeze (which taste closer to fresh-squeezed) • Has a mild preservative tang if you drink it over a few days after opening • Not pulpy at all if you like bits of orange, go for a pulp version Would buy again for breakfast, mixing with sparkling water, or just as a quick thirst-quencher. Solid 4 stars — reliable supermarket OJ that punches above its price point.
