Versitile product, useful for both savoury dishes such as a thicker in soups and for desserts especially my favourite, tiramisu. Coles brand is inexpensive compared to other brands, and made from Australian milk. It is very creamy in texture and spreadable if using on cakes.

I picked up Coles Mascarpone for a Peppermint Crisp Tart and it was spot on. The texture was luxuriously smooth and creamy, with just the right richness to balance the caramel. It blended beautifully without splitting, and I was impressed by how fresh it tasted. I’ve since used it in pasta sauces and even dolloped it over berries — it’s versatile and consistently good. Definitely a staple in my fridge now.
