as a sports drink, it does what Gatorade is supposed to do — it’s refreshing when cold, easy to drink, and helps with hydration during or after physical activity. The sweetness can actually be helpful during long workouts because it gives you some quick energy, but if you’re just casually drinking it, it might feel a bit heavy. One of the best things about the Tropical flavour is that it doesn’t have the overly salty aftertaste that some sports drinks have. It’s smooth, fruity, and probably more appealing to people who don’t usually like traditional sports drinks.
