The flavour is pleasant and familiar if you’re used to “blue”-sports-drink flavours: it’s refreshing and works well during or after exercise. Sweetness is a notable issue — compared to some other sports drinks, Blue Bolt comes across as quite sweet. While sweetness can help when you’re working hard and need rapid carb/electrolyte intake, if you prefer a milder taste it may feel a little heavy.
