I’ve been buying Sunny Queen Free Range Large 700g eggs for years now and they’re easily my favourite eggs in Australia. The yolks are always that deep, rich golden-orange colour you only seem to get from properly free-range hens, and the flavour is noticeably better than standard cage or barn-laid eggs – really fresh and ‘eggy’ in the best way.

Okay, the Santa hats on the usual smiley faces is a really cute touch, and the eggs are tasty as sunny queen eggs are tasty, but I have noticed the last few batches some of the eggs have had thin shells and have been prone to breaking.
