NSAIDs like Advil reduce the amount of pain causing chemicals produced by the body. This reduction in chemicals helps lead to reduced inflammation and pain. Ibuprofen-based NSAIDs are commonly used to manage pain and inflammation (swelling and redness) associated with some common types of musculoskeletal disorders, and treat non-inflammatory conditions such as headaches, migraine headaches and period pain, and to reduce fever. True and fast acting pain relief honest to goodness my highest praise for over the counter pain relief. Though they appear to have the same active ingredients as other similar products in their class, Advil's formula for me personally provided far superior and longer lasting relief. However if I'm being honest the liquid capsule version is my favorite Advil Tablet they are also quite large and sometimes not always easy to swallow. These tablets are smaller and more palatable for more users elderly ect. Still very very good just take a little longer to kick in than the liquid capsules.
