My partner bought these Woolworths Sliced Water Chestnuts to go in a Thai curry as they did not have any bamboo shoots, which I usually use. In the past I have not been keen on water chestnut slices but these were quite nice. They seemed to have a nicer texture than usual and were quite a refreshing substitute.
