It's an ingredient called for in lots of Chinese recepies usually in the marinade. l use Double Phoenix in most of my marinades it adds that background flavour and seems to make the meat tender. Really recommend it iy seems to be a base engrediant that just works 16% alcohol content

as an asian household it is a must have at my house. where i got it was slightly pricier compared to asian grocers. the bottle top is sometimes very hard to fully unscrew and can even get cuts in my hand
