If you grew up in Australia there’s a good chance you’ve had this at some point. It’s super soft, really airy and honestly feels lighter than normal bread. The slices are a bit smaller and thinner than regular sandwich bread, which some people love and some people complain about 😂 The little sesame seeds on top give it that classic Country Split look and a bit of extra flavour. It’s really good toasted with heaps of butter, jam or Vegemite because it goes crispy on the edges but still soft in the middle. For sandwiches, it’s nice and soft for kids lunchboxes, although if you load it up too much it can fall apart a bit because the bread is so fluffy. Online people always joke that it’s “80% air” but in a weirdly comforting way 😂
