This is a really easy product to mix and get a consistent result from. I like to add variations to this mix, my favourite thing to do is add either canned or a mix of fresh or stewed apples to this mix to make an apple tea cake. you can either puree the canned fruit add to the batter or just mix in freshly cut apples and then add extra apples to the top with cinnamon. I personally don’t really like the icing it comes with, but its fine to use if you’re short on time.
