I bought this Crisco canola oil because I wanted to cook samosas in a deep fryer and it was half price. It is a clean, neutral oil without a strong taste, which was exactly what I wanted. It also has a high smoke point, something else I needed. I have since used it to make chips in the deep fryer, and after straining it I will be able to use it again next time I want to make something in the deep fryer.
