5-Star Review of SABCO Bulldozer Indus-Strength Broom 600mm

I saw this SABCCO Bulldozer with the bright orange head and figured it might just be flashy packaging. Turns out it's actually really solid. The 600mm head covers a good area without feeling clumsy in tight spots. The black bristles are stiff and thick – after six weeks of sweeping builder's sand, leaf mess, gumnuts and bark chips, they still look almost new. The timber handle feels strong and heavy-duty, no flexing or creaking, and the bolted connection hasn't shifted at all (even after I accidentally knocked it against the wall). There's a handy rope loop at the top for hanging in the shed. It also doesn't leave those annoying bristle streaks on wet concrete. One small thing: when it's brand new the bristles are very stiff – almost too much for light indoor sweeping. After a week or so of use they ease up a bit. This is clearly built as an outdoor broom first. If you're tired of replacing brooms every few months, this one's worth it. It feels tough enough to handle serious work and still have plenty of life left. I'll probably get a spare for the back shed
