Standard brooms usually snap at the neck when you apply pressure, but the heavy-duty ferrule on this Sabco is solid. I have used it on rough concrete and bitumen, and it handles debris, sand, and wet leaves without a struggle. The bamboo handle feels great in the hand and doesn't get roasting hot if left in the sun. If you’ve got a large driveway or a messy garage, don't bother with the cheap stuff—get this one.
