It contains no added colours, is naturally low in fat (when drained) and provides 2.5 vegie serves per can (One serve of vegetables = 75g. Aim for a variety of vegetables each day.) A versatile ingredient for cooking, Golden Circle® Sliced Beetroot is tasty both hot and cold. Blend with chickpeas to make a beetroot hummus or bake into homemade vegie chips for a delicious snack. This product was made in New Zealand. The can is easy to open with a can opener. The beetroot is thickly sliced. A nice sweet flavour.

We eat a lot of tinned, sliced beetroot in summer, and Golden Circle is one of our favourite brands. It is so tasty in salads and on sandwiches and burgers. It was on special in Coles and helped to make our chicken schnitzel burgers taste delicious.

Golden Circle Sliced Beetroot has been a long-time favourite in my household. The slices are just the right thickness, tender but not too soft, and the flavour is beautifully balanced – slightly sweet and tangy with that earthy beetroot taste. I love adding it to sandwiches and burgers, or serving it as a quick salad side with dinner. The vibrant colour always makes any plate look more appetising. It’s also nice to know it’s Australian-made and consistently fresh-tasting straight from the tin. A classic product that never disappoints!
