Simple and easy to cook. Cooks evenly and holds sauce well. Tastes plain on its own, but works perfectly with any sauce.

Zafarelli’s 500g dry spaghetti is a dependable pantry staple that offers great everyday value, with a smooth texture that cooks evenly and holds sauces well without turning mushy. It has that classic Italian-style bite—firm yet tender—and its consistent quality makes it easy to trust for quick weeknight meals or larger family dishes. On the downside, the flavor is a bit milder compared with premium bronze-cut pastas, and it can require careful timing to avoid overcooking by a minute or two. Still, for the price and reliability, it’s a solid choice that delivers satisfying results with minimal fuss.

Zafarelli is my preferred brand. About $1 cheaper than San remo and such good quality pasta. This spaghetti cooks Al dente in 7 minutes and is great with the perfect texture and taste.

Spaghetti Number for just a great spaghetti to eat it’s in between the really small spaghetti and the large. I prefer this one because it’s in between and the kids seem to like it better and it does absorb all the liquid and the cream or whatever you’re adding to it, so give it a go .

Not my normal go to for pasta. It was actually a substitute for a different brand that I had bought. However I found it much the same as other brands of the same product. Pros- kids liked it and didn’t notice a difference Cons- not made in Australia or from Australian ingredients
