This was my first time trying these Suimin Mi Goreng noodles and I like them. They’re quite similar to most other two or three minute noodles in that you just had some water, let the noodles cook, drain the water off, add the flavourings and then enjoy them. These were very easy to prepare and the flavour was quite nice. I don’t think they’re part of a staple diet but for a quick snack here and there I think they are great.

Suimin’s Mi Goreng noodle cup is a simple, comforting take on the classic Mi goreng flavour, with springy noodles and a savoury, slightly sweet seasoning that’s satisfying without being overpowering. Compared to the classic Indomie brand, it is more mild rather than spicy (there is no chilli or sambal sachet), and feels a bit more greasy due to the more oily sachet. While it may not be the boldest Mi goreng out there, it’s reliable, tasty, and does exactly what you want from an instant noodle cup with its convinence.
