helgas is one of my favourite breads and the light rye flavour is up there with the best. soft and fluffy with a whole meal taste it’s not too sweet like white bread tends to be and it stays fresh for days

Great bread !! This is great for extra carb for a sandwich or the ends of the bread is amazing in Caesar salads !! I love the left on flour left on the top of the bread loaf !! It goes very hard like sour dough hard when it’s toasted tho so that can be improved !!

We can always count on Helga’s bread for freshness and taste. We had our bread for breakfast alongside eggs and cheese. For lunch we had ham sandwiches with lettuce, tomato and cheese.

This light rye is truly the most deliciously soft bread of all the rye’s. We normally choose a bakery bread, but we’ve been pleasantly surprised by this supermarket variety. It’s perfect fresh or lightly toasted & the crust is very palatable, not hard.

Bread sure is expensive these days and Helgas bread is among the more pricey of selections. This light rye is definitely ’light’ and could probably do with a little more substance to add value.

Always love the Helfas range of breads. but the light and dark rye's are our favourite. Good rich flavour, easier on the stomach and great with all the usual bread toppings.
