The kernels in this product are cut from the cob, and since they are machine cut with high precision, I didn't notice any flaws and the kernels were intact in the jar. The flavor is just right for me, not too sweet, and I can still taste the corn, just like fresh corn. Of course, I'm a person who likes to buy products based on price, so if it wasn't on sale, I would be more inclined to buy other products that are cheaper.
