Review of Arnott's Jatz Crackers Original 225g

An Australian pantry staple that has absolutely no business being as addictive as it is. Jatz are your classic salted, slightly buttery cracker - thin, crispy, and dangerously snackable straight from the box without any topping whatsoever, which is both their greatest quality and their biggest threat to your self-control. They hold up brilliantly under cheese, dip, or whatever you're throwing at them without going soggy, which puts them ahead of a lot of the competition. The salt level is perfectly dialled in - enough to keep you reaching back in the box every 30 seconds but not so much that you feel like you've licked a salt flat. My only real criticism is that the portion size printed on the pack is a complete work of fiction because nobody has ever eaten just six. Genuinely one of the best value crackers on the shelf, and the kind of thing you buy for a party platter but end up demolishing alone on the couch. No notes, Arnott's. Classic for a reason.
