You honestly can’t go wrong with the original Tim Tam. The chocolate coating is rich, smooth, and perfectly melts in your mouth, while the creamy filling inside has just the right amount of sweetness. The biscuit layers are light but still give that satisfying crunch. I love how versatile they are too — they taste amazing on their own, dunked in a cup of tea or coffee, or even used for a Tim Tam Slam. It’s an Australian classic that always feels a bit nostalgic and comforting. As delicious as they are, they can feel a little too sweet after more than one or two. The chocolate can also melt quite easily in warmer weather, which makes them messy to eat if you’re not careful. And lately, it feels like the packets have fewer biscuits than they used to — they disappear way too fast!
