small plastic bag of red split lentils, the bag is not resealable. the red split lentils are uniform in colour with very few dark ones in the mix. they go well in soups and stews and cook up nicely. they absorb the stock they are cooked in and taste great

Red splite lentils are so much easier to prepare compared to the whole green lentils, they only need to be cooked for 10 minutes, don't need to soak beforehand, only need to rinse it a few times until the water is clear.
