They are so good and fluffy. We have them with honey or peanut butter or Nutella. Tastes good even with smashed avocado and egg. Tastes good when fresh but tends to go hard once opened and in the refrigerator.

Golden bakery 6 pack original round crumpets are such a favourite in our house. They’re so good toasted with heaps of butter melting through all the little holes. We love having them for breakfast or just as a quick snack with Vegemite, jam or honey. Nice and soft in the middle with a little crisp on the outside once toasted. They never seem to last long in our house because everyone loves them 💛✨

I usually buy a pack of Golden Crumpets once a week and enjoy them with little butter and a Vegemite on top. Coles and Woolies frequently have them on sale when you buy two packets at a time but this does not work for me as the shelf life of crumpets are only a few days. I don’t have the patience to freeze them and defrost them and this is probably why I have never had a mouldy packet like so many other reviewers have reported. I do appreciate that they are still made in Australia and not imported frozen from overseas like a lot of the other bakery products the big two supermarket lumber us with. I don’t care if my crumpets are round or square,
