Photo Review of Golden Bakery 6 Crumpets Original 300g

We used to love having these as a breakdown item. They taste great with butter and jam as the little pores hold all the sauces. However, the last few time we bought this, it had gone bad really quickly. We would open the package within 24 hours of purchase and find molds right away. The molds were found hidden between two crumpets too, meaning they were not caused by contacts. We suspect that this causes by the crumpets being packed and sealed while they are still hot. That would explain why there are always moisture inside the pack even at the time of purchase, and why they grow molds so quickly, even way before the best before date. We ended up throwing two packs of these away. Will probably steer clear of these for a while.
