Review of Golden Bakery 6 Crumpets Original 300g

I usually buy a pack of Golden Crumpets once a week and enjoy them with little butter and a Vegemite on top. Coles and Woolies frequently have them on sale when you buy two packets at a time but this does not work for me as the shelf life of crumpets are only a few days. I don’t have the patience to freeze them and defrost them and this is probably why I have never had a mouldy packet like so many other reviewers have reported. I do appreciate that they are still made in Australia and not imported frozen from overseas like a lot of the other bakery products the big two supermarket lumber us with. I don’t care if my crumpets are round or square, I just choose the cheapest option at time of purchase. Sometimes I notice the holes are not consistent and there are little patches where there are no holes on top but I can live with that. I just don’t remember this being a problem when I was a child. All in all, they are still a great product and I’ll continue to purchase them.
