This little packet is a lifesaver on busy weeknights. We use the Old El Paso taco spice mix all the time when we’re making tacos or even just a quick mince and rice dinner, and it never disappoints. The flavour is really well balanced… not too spicy, but still has that proper taco taste that everyone in the house enjoys… even the kiddos! I also like that it mixes in easily with mince and you don’t need to add much else. Sometimes I’ll stretch it by adding extra veggies like grated carrot or zucchini and the flavour still holds up really well. It’s one of those things I always keep a spare of because you’ll never know when you feel like Mexican!

best taco seasoning on the market by far. we only use this brand has a slight spicy flavour but not too much just perfect for our Taco mince. I already cooked out mince with it for Tacos hence the picture of our cooked mince. I find in order to maximise the flavour profile I add 2 packets to 500grns heart smart or lean mice and not too much water. this gives the strongest and best flavour. if you don’t like it strong only go with one packet. or add more water brings flavour down. try to only buy when on special as use to be under $2 but has gone up to $3 I feel it almost has doubled in price to what it was before. but we have been using this one for decades now. also makes a great dip add sour cream onion powder and taste amazing

I use this Taco Spice mix every time. It has a great flavour that compliments the mince when making my tacos or when I do my rice, vegetable and mince dish. Old El Paso just seems to have that particular flavour that makes every meal taste delicious. And if there happens to be any leftovers, great for next day eating.
