The onions themselves are medium-sized—bigger than cocktail onions. The flavour is unmistakably sharp and tangy, with a malt-vinegar punch. The onions are crunchy and reminiscent of baked dinners. The vinegar brine is quite strong and acidic, so if you want something sweet, they may not be for you. I personally found the size of the onions too large.
