Photo Review of Cottee's® Strawberry Jam 375g

Cottee’s Strawberry Jam has been in my pantry on and off for years. It is one of those classic spreads I grew up with. There’s something nostalgic about slathering it on hot buttered toast in the morning or using it in jam drops. The flavour is sweet and familiar, and it spreads easily enough for a quick snack. That said, I’ve noticed lately that it doesn’t taste quite the same as I remember. It feels smoother, almost jelly like, and doesn’t have the little chunks of fruit that I used to love. It’s still nice, but sometimes it feels more sugary than fruity. What I do like is that it’s easy to find at pretty much any supermarket, and it’s always affordable compared to fancier brands. For everyday use, especially if you’re making sandwiches for kids or baking, it does the job.
