This is a classic mix in soup to any recipe. Casseroles, I have done rice with this, and even added a can of cream of mushroom soup with a pack or two of onion soup mix and poured that over pork steaks. You just can't go wrong with a classic like this.

Not sure whether it’s been a change in recipe ? But I haven’t found the mushroom flavour to be up to it’s usual standards. May try again in a few months and see if there’s been a change for the better
