I used fresh Basil Leaves and they were wonderfully aromatic and vibrant. The flavour is fresh, slightly sweet, and peppery, which really lifted the dishes I added them to, like pasta, salads, and homemade pesto. The leaves were tender and not wilted, making them easy to chop or tear. I also liked how a few leaves added a noticeable burst of freshness without overpowering the other ingredients. Definitely a simple ingredient that makes a big difference in flavour.
