Woolworths Tuna Sweet Chilli is a solid pantry staple if you want something quick with a bit of flavour. The sweet chilli sauce gives it a mild kick without being overpowering. It’s more sweet than spicy, so if you’re expecting serious heat, you won’t get it — but that actually makes it versatile. You can eat it straight from the can, throw it into a wrap, mix it through rice, or add it to a salad without clashing with other ingredients. The tuna itself is reasonably chunky and not overly dry. The sauce keeps it moist, which is where this product stands out compared to plain springwater varieties. On the downside, the flavour can taste slightly artificial if you’re sensitive to sweeter sauces, and like most flavoured tuna options, it’s higher in sugar and sodium than plain tuna. Overall, it’s convenient, affordable, and reliable — great for quick lunches or when you don’t feel like cooking.

As part of Woolworths’ private label tuna range, it’s an affordable and convenient option for quick meals or protein-rich snacks on the go.  The tuna is moist and tender, not overly oily or dry. The sweet chilli flavour delivers a pleasant balance of sweetness and mild spice, without being too overpowering or artificial. It has a gentle kick—enough to be noticed, but unlikely to offend sensitive palates. The sauce is more of a glaze than a liquid, which helps it mix easily with rice, wraps, salads, or crackers.  At under 110 calories per 95g can, it’s high in protein and relatively low in fat. It does contain moderate sugar and sodium—mainly due to the sweet chilli sauce—so while it’s fine for occasional use, it may not suit those watching their sugar or salt intake closely.  The 95g pull-ring tin is compact, travel-friendly, and doesn’t require a can opener.
