The odd bunch prepackaged zucchini was fresh and delicious. There was no difference in taste between this product and the non-odd bunch product.

all zucchini great sizes and the quality is far better than originally thought. There is minimal cosmetic blemishes on each zucchini. I actually think they’re better than the supermarkets! I continually buy these because they stay fresh for so long in the fridge!

The Odd Bunch zucchinis from Woolworths are just regular zucchinis that look wonky or misshaped, like curved or bumpy instead of straight. Sold in packs around 750g, they’re young with smooth green skin and soft white insides, fine to eat raw or cooked. The point is to sell these imperfect ones cheaper to reduce food waste, as farmers might toss them otherwise.

I love these odd bunch zucchini. they are half the price of the loose zucchini and taste exactly the same. the only problem is the amount of plastic they come in. a plastic tray and covering. they use to be just a plastic light weight netting, that I reused as bags, a pot cleaner or to put over my plants so the possums and birds dont get my fruits. but now it’s plastic that can’t be recycled. so disappointed about that. otherwise I love saving fruit and vegetables deemed “odd” so farmers can still sell their produce.
