It is ready to eat, but I always wash my salad leaves. Nice combination of leaves, with a pleasant taste. I drizzled balsamic vinegar on them, and ate as a side salad with meat. In general, you pay for the convenience of this product. Dont buy it if the use by is close. I did that once and found the leaves wilting and limp, with brown spots in some.
