This brand is as good as any other more expensive brand. I don’t see a point of buying the more expensive brand when it taste the same.

The tins are very easy to open for quick meals. Ideal for work lunch, sandwiches and salads. Low calorie, high protein option.

Woolworths Tuna in Springwater is a simple, no-frills canned tuna packed in spring water instead of oil. It’s designed to be a budget-friendly, healthy protein source that’s easy to keep in the pantry and use in salads, sandwiches, sushi, pasta and more. A lot of reviewers say the tuna tastes “bland” or “cheap” compared with more premium options — you’ll likely want to add seasoning or mix it into a dish rather than eat it straight. Woolworths Tuna in Springwater isn’t gourmet, but it is reliable, nutritious and easy to use — especially when you’re watching calories or budget. If flavour intensity or big, firm chunks matter to you, you might prefer a slightly more premium springwater or oil-packed tuna brand. Overall it’s a practical pantry staple rather than a premium taste experience.

The tuna is quite ‘mushy’ & not in flakes. You need to drain a substantial amount of water if you want to put the tuna on a sandwich. Bland flavour, but okay for the price.
