Such a classic Aussie dessert and honestly a bit of a comfort buy for me. The custard tart has a nice smooth, creamy filling that’s not overly sweet, with that light sprinkle of nutmeg on top giving it the traditional bakery taste.

great size for the price and for the family for desert. custard is firm so it does not go every where we you slice it. could do with more cinnamon sprinkle on top.

this is my favourite retail custard cake in Sydney! the taste is exclusive even for this cake is not in sale at every woolies shop. I found this cake only at Woolies Town Hall. since then, I always spend my time to restock it from Town Hall. really recommend this cake for every custard lover!

I tried the Woolworths Custard Tart and it was a really nice surprise. The pastry base is buttery and crisp, holding up well without going soggy, and the custard filling is smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. The hint of nutmeg on top gives it that classic custard tart flavour, making it taste quite close to a bakery-made version.

From my experience, this one is a bit hard to buy in Woolworths (sometimes it's sold out) And I love the taste because it tastes a bit like pudding, and also have the cookie.
