Essentials White Sugar from Woolworths is the brand of sugar that I usually buy, as it is the cheapest and comes in paper packets rather than plastic like Coles sugar (although I regretted this recently when ants attacked our pantry for it). It is tasty and has many uses, particularly in cooking and baking.

I like the paper packaging as I'm trying to be mindful of my plastic use. Affordable staple. Made a chocolate cake with it the other day and it was delicious.
