Woolworths Fresh Pink Lady Apples deliver a sweet and tangy flavour with a crisp, juicy bite. These vibrant apples are a popular snack, with one apple counting as one serve of fruit. They are also versatile for many culinary uses. How to Pick: Select firm apples that feel heavy for their size, with smooth skin and an even red blush. Avoid any soft spots or bruising. Ways to Eat: Enjoy fresh as a crunchy snack, sliced in salads, or added to lunchboxes. They are great baked into pies, crumbles, or simmered in savoury dishes. How to Store: Store Pink Lady Apples in your refrigerator's crisper drawer. This helps maintain their crispness and flavour for several weeks. Cooking Methods: Bake, stew, roast, sauté. Where it's Grown: Grown with care by Australian farmers.

A handy size for apples, they fit in the lunch box and are easy to grab and eat. Good value and are very healthy.

Bought a bag of Pink Lady apples today with a bit of trepidation. There were no loose apples, only pre-bagged. Since I'm not big on apples, the cost of a bag seemed like a gamble -- I've had loads of apples go to waste before, from lack of interest, bland taste and/or mealiness. I usually only eat Empire (or Milton, when I can find them), as I hate mealy apples or apples that are too sweet. For instance, unless it's very small, a whole Red Delicious is just too overwhelmingly sweet for me. , and I'm trying to eat less processed sugar -- yet still need some sort of dessert. Had a light dinner, then tried a Pink Lady. WOW! So yummy that a few hours later I tried (and devoured) another one, to see if the taste of the first one was a fluke. The apple is crisp, juicy enough to be pleasant (but not drip), the skin is firm but still easy to bite through, and the taste!!! Sweet but with enough tartness that it's not overwhelming. And there's a faint strawberry candy-like background note that make the apple actually seem like a dessert instead of a healthy chore. Based on reading, I'm going to keep them in the fridge, and take them out ahead of time to let them warm up a bit. I'm not usually a happy apple eater, but I am now!
