great fresh green beans. they come in a good sized packet to make as sides. they don’t have any strings and are great steamed. they taste great and are reasonably priced for the quality.

good price for the size. I’m a bit over green beans now because my stomach doesn’t agree with them. I only wish they weren’t wrapped in plastic

Positives 1. Convenience • Pre-trimmed and ready to cook — saves time in the kitchen. (General idea from pre-cut veg discussions) • Good option for busy people or those wanting quick meal prep. 2. Accessibility • Handy for people with limited mobility, arthritis, disability, or those who struggle with cutting veggies. (Discussed for similar pre-cut veg packs) • Can help people maintain fresh food in their diet without needing to prep themselves. 3. Portion packaging • Sold in convenient punnet sizes (e.g., 400 g) so you can buy just what you need. • Often included in Woolworths seasonal specials/discounts, making it a decent value at times. ❌ Negatives 1. Price vs fresh loose produce • Pre-packed veggies often cost more per kg compared with loose fresh vegetables — pricing comparisons suggest the packaged Beanette can be pricier per weight than loose beans. 2. Packaging waste • A common complaint about pre-packed fresh produce is the excess plastic. Some shoppers say there’s a lot of plastic relative to the amount of vegetable inside. • Environmental concerns due to single-use plastic packaging. 3. Quality variability • While specific reviews for this exact product are limited online, some Woolworths pre-packed veg products get mixed comments about freshness and quality once opened. • Some shoppers prefer picking loose veggies so they can judge quality themselves rather than relying on what’s packed. (General feedback, not specific to Beanette but relevant)
