For a spring onion, this was a particularly good bunch. I'm not sure if they're in season or whether this was some special kind, but this one from Woolies was quite fresh and crisp. I would like more to be included in a bunch, but that's pretty much my only con.

I like shallots a lots . I bought them every week and added them in my salad soup stir fries and in most of my meals. It enhances the flavours of my food. But I prefer the small ones.

These are pretty hood, fresh onion flavour, and large pieces. we grow the roots in water and plant them afterwards. love spring onion. Great addition to any cooking or dip or garnish.

Well I’m actually not impressed woollies has put less in each bunch of these spring onions and the price has gone up.Think I’ll have to start growing my own!
